While out shopping for some food storage items at Macey's big sale, we ran across this honey powder. Honey powder? What is that we asked? Apparently it is dehydrated honey that can be used as a replacement for sugar. We decided to try it out on some chocolate chip cookies. I used a recipe that I always use and know how the cookies should turn out. I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. The cookies had a very good taste and were only slightly drier than my normal recipe using sugar. I look forward to using this as an emergency sweetener. I think it will do nicely.
