At Jed's 3 month follow up this week, his A1C(monitors blood glucose numbers in diabetics) number was down to 7.1. A vast improvement from his initial test of 10.8 when he was diagnosed with Diabetes. His doctor would like to see it even lower, but is happy with the changes he has made in such a brief amount of time.
On another note, since Jed's brother and sister in law have found out the hard way, we decided to get tested to see if either of us are carriers for cystic fibrosis. We got the results back and were both negative. Good news indeed!
