I have a lot of free time at work. I tend to search around the Internet a lot. A lot of that searching is done on blogs. I have found some great things on blogs. One of those great things is an Internet radio station call Pandora.
I've been using my IPod to rock out and pass the time. I've even logged into a local radio station that has online stream of the radio shows. However great the pod and online radio station are, Pandora has become my new favorite. It is a free Internet radio site. It's pretty cool. I am just starting to get to know it's capabilities. But here's the basic scoop. You can choose specific genres and listen to them all day. You can give a thumbs up or down to specific songs so if they play something you really hate, GONE! You never have to hear it again if you so choose.
Right now I'm listening to "Who put the Bomp in the Bomp, Bomp, Bomp" guess what genre that is from? It's some guy named Bryan Mann. Kind of a silly song. It comes from the Rock & Roll/Roots Genre. Yesterday I listened to Alternative/Indie music all afternoon. Found some new favs we may have to buy and add to the IPod!
Anyway, if you are stuck at work in an office and can use your Internet to listen to some music, this is a great place to visit. http://www.pandora.com/
