How's your day been?

I got a call from the hubby this morning asking if I knew where his keys were. I'm thinking "Of course not, why would I know where his keys are? He needs to be responsible for his own stuff, blah, blah, blah..." He asked me to look to make sure I had not taken his keys. Feeling a bit sheepish, I had to answer that yes, I had in fact taken his keys AND my keys were also in my purse. I guess he won't be going anywhere today.

I have also been wondering why my shirt felt so funny all day. Could it be that it is on backwards?!

I won't even mention the other thing that happend this morning. I am way too embarassed.

And yes it took me 4 tries to get the image on this post because I kept deleting it when I tried to tidy up the look.

Yes, it's been that kind of day!

Dori is more than just a name for a fish

So, I guess I should explain my new nickname... I have a tendancy to be a little bit absent minded and get distracted very easily. If you haven't ever seen "Finding Nemo", then you won't understand anything about my nickname. My husband, (boyfriend at the time) and I were walking through Wal-Mart looking for some particular items. I was especially "punchy" that late night long ago and was able to find just about every obscure misplaced item that people had stuffed back on the shelves. What insued was me walking through the store shouting ooooh hey look, Mexican Vanilla!!!, or wow! pink jelly shoes or what ever it was that I found. It was that night that the nickname Dori was born. Sadly, this was not an isolated incident. Anyone who knows me well can vouch for that. Thank goodness I can laugh at myself. It makes it easier for others to laugh at me too. So.....here's to the new world of blogging and having fun laughing at our lives together.
